On April 26, 2025, the Jawana Foundation successfully organized the TOEFL Placement Test for students who had been shortlisted through a highly competitive process. This important event marked a key step in our mission to empower young Afghans by creating greater access to academic and professional opportunities.
The Free TOEFL Preparation Program offers selected students the opportunity to engage in an intensive two-month training course aimed at preparing them for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) — a key requirement for most scholarship and university applications worldwide.
On August 15, 2024, about a month into the Duolingo Prep Course, we noticed that some of our students were already quite prepared for the actual Duolingo English Test.
With detailed planning and relentless efforts, we endeavor to provide Afghan girls with the educational support they deserve, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities needed to build brighter futures.
In a carefully planned one-hour session, our organization made a dedicated effort to create meaningful connections between Afghan girls in our program and our respected partners from Canada.
