This is M. Wafaie, an Afghan girl pursuing education like thousands of other girls. I am dreaming of becoming a brilliant computer scientist, so currently preparing for university and learning the basics of computer science like coding. Moreover, I spent recent years applying to USA universities and getting admission from my dream school which is Stanford University.

I applied to some universities but unfortunately got rejected from almost all of them, including Stanford. I got admitted from a university but couldn’t get a full-ride scholarship. This was actually the greatest failure of my life since I was born because I worked hard and overcame a difficult long journey with all its challenges until submitting my applications. It was disappointing at first, but later I noticed every failure is not just a failure, it also contains all the time that was wasted on experiencing all the journey for reaching out the goal, so I aimed to take the journey once again and use all the experiences from last failure for recognizing my weaknesses and creating a stronger version of myself for the US university and get into my dream school.

My dream is to study computer science in the US.
