Final Candidates for Free TOEFL Preparation Program Announced

After days of reviewing applications and conducting a placement test, we are excited to announce the final list of selected students for the Jawana Foundation’s Free TOEFL Preparation Program 2025.

Earlier this month, we received a total of 1,633 applications from passionate and motivated Afghan students. After a careful screening process, 317 applicants were shortlisted. These candidates were invited to take part in a placement test to help us ensure fairness and accuracy in our selection.

Despite our efforts, only 67 shortlisted candidates participated in the test. Many either lived outside Kabul or could not attend due to personal reasons. Based on the results, we have selected 18 students who scored the highest and met our program’s criteria.

This is the list of accepted students for the program:

  1. Mohammad Haidar Hussainzada
  2. Golsom Ahmadi
  3. Roya Muhib
  4. Farzana Sultani
  5. Maryam Furmaly
  6. Freshteh Yousofi
  7. Habiba Zahedi
  8. Nasrin Ashori
  9. Amina Amini
  10. Zarghona Noori
  11. Azizullah Hakimi
  12. Zohal Farhat
  13. Fatima Frotan Haidari
  14. Homayon Akhondzada
  15. Latifa Anwary
  16. Masuma Bahnia
  17. Sakina Salah
  18. Mohammad Zia Royesh Khaliqiar

While our original plan was to accept 30 students (20 girls and 10 boys), we adjusted the number due to the lower participation rate in the test. All selected students have already been contacted with the program’s details, and we are excited to start the classes soon.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who applied, especially those who made the effort to join the placement test. Your interest drives our mission forward. We also thank our volunteers and partners for making this process a success.
